Opened in Istanbul in 2021, HOPE Alkazar is Nike’s newest House of Purpose*. Set in the historic Alkazar Theatre on İstiklal Caddesi, the building has been renovated to repurpose the theatre space as a flexible, projection-enabled multi-use space. Additionally, we created a communal workspace, two cafe spaces for local vendors, Nike Maker’s Studio, multi-purpose dance studio, locker room, terrace garden and rooftop multi-sport court.
*A House of Purpose is a community-led experience center, guided by Nike’s purpose and designed to help athletes* do through sport, art, culture and community.
